The Fiji Islands is located in the heart of the South Pacific, just west of Tonga and Samoa and East of the islands of Vanuatu. The Fiji Islands consists of over 300 islands scattered through out a large area of the South Pacific. The two largest islands of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu has over 95% of the land mass and is home to most of the population of these tropical Islands. Although many resorts are located on these 2 islands, there are many located on the other islands of Fiji. Some of the smallest islands in Fiji are located in the Mamanuca Islands, a group of islands just off the coast of Nadi. Thus making them very close to the Nadi Intonational Airport. Travellers arrive at the airport and can be on the islands within a short boat ride or even shorter plane transfer.
